MMI views consumer privacy and security as a very high priority. Therefore, we have the responsibility to care for and protect confidential information transmitted via the Internet. This means securing your information. We use the information you submit for its intended purpose, and we safeguard it from unauthorized access. Information you submit is transferred to third parties for the purpose of servicing your request and in accordance with our Privacy Notice once your loan closes.

Cookies are used where necessary for the functionality of the site.

Security:
As a mortgage banker and a seller of financial products, we know and value the importance of keeping your information CONFIDENTIAL and SECURE, and we are aware of how uncomfortable people can be about sharing this information. We know that keeping your information secure is an important responsibility, and is one that we uphold by handling your data with care and confidentiality. 

When you request a page that requires security, our server initiates a secure connection with your browser. Any data sent to or from the server is encrypted. You can verify that you have a secure connection by checking the status bar, or lower portion of your browser, for an image of a lock in the locked position.

  • The loan application is a SECURE area on our site and the information submitted is ENCRYPTED.

  • This information is used for LOAN PROCESSING PURPOSES and will only be used for other purposes in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

At MyMoneyInc.com™we recognize the importance of respecting your privacy and maintaining your trust. Safeguarding your personal information is among our highest priority. The main objective of this Notice is to allow you to make informed choices about the sharing of your personal information. Other objectives include complying with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, helping us protect you against potential fraud or unauthorized transactions, processing your requests, and providing you with new opportunities to help you meet your financial needs.

We pledge to respect your financial assets and are committed to exceptional personalized service. We will protect your privacy as we share information with the our partners. The information in this Notice applies to MyMoneyInc.com current and former customers. This Privacy Notice is intended to inform you about the information we collect and how we may share it within our Corporate Family as well as how we may disclose this information to third parties. 

This Notice also provides you with an opportunity to opt-out of certain information sharing as described below. However, opting out does not restrict all information sharing. The privacy laws permit several exceptions to allow transfers of information. For example, we can continue to share your name and address within our Corporate Family. This allows us to provide you with diverse products and services from our Corporate Family of companies. In addition, opting out will not restrict us from sharing Nonpublic Personal Information when it is shared with a Nonaffiliated Third Party to:

  • Market financial products or services offered by us and other financial institutions

1. Definitions

In this Notice, MyMoneyInc.com™ is referred to as we, our and us.

This initial privacy notice is for you if you are an individual (not a business) who is either our "Customer" or our "Consumer". A "Consumer" means any individual who seeks to obtain or obtains a financial product or service from us, in isolated transactions with us, that are used for personal, family or household use, such as submitting a loan application to us. A "Customer" means any individual who has a continuing relationship with us where we provide one or more financial products or services for your personal, family or household use, such as a home mortgage. "Nonpublic Personal Information" means any information that you provide to us to obtain a financial product or service, that we collect based on a transaction between us or that we obtain in other ways in connection with providing a financial product or service.

"Nonaffiliated Third Party" means a company that is not part of our "Corporate Family".

"Corporate Family" means (1) any company that we own or control, plus (2) any company that owns or controls us, plus (3) any company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us. 

2. Confidentiality and Security of Your Nonpublic Personal Information

We restrict access to Nonpublic Personal Information about you to our employees who work and service your account. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your Nonpublic Personal Information.

3. Information that We Collect

We collect information, including, Nonpublic Personal Information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our Corporate Family, or others; and
  • Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency.

4. Categories of Information that We Disclose

We may disclose all of the information, as described above, to our Corporate Family and Nonaffiliated Third Parties in accordance with applicable law.

5. Categories of Nonaffiliated Third Parties to Whom We Disclose

Except as indicated above, we may disclose Nonpublic Personal Information about you to the following types of Nonaffiliated Third Parties:

  • Any person or company that offers a product or service that we believe would be useful, helpful and convenient to our Customers and our Consumers.

6. Categories of Information that We Disclose to Marketing Companies

We are permitted to disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements, in accordance with applicable law - such as insurance companies, insurance agents, insurance brokers, private mortgage insurers and marketing firms. This enables us to better meet your financial needs.

7. Information We Can Share About You With Our Corporate Family ---Unless You Tell Us Not To:

Except as indicated above, there is certain information we may share within our Corporate Family unless you tell us not to, including:

  • Information we obtain from your applications or other forms, such as: your income, your assets or your marital status;
  • Information we obtain from a consumer report, such as: your credit score or credit history;
  • Information we obtain to verify representations made by you, such as: your open lines of credit; and
  • Information we obtain from a person or company regarding their employment, credit, or other relationship with you, such as: your employment history.

Companies within our Corporate Family who may receive this information are:

  • Financial service providers, such as: banks, trust companies, insurance companies, and real estate developers. 

8. Explanation of Opt-Out Right

If you prefer that we not share information, as described in Paragraph 7, within our Corporate Family and if you prefer that we not disclose Nonpublic Personal Information with Nonaffiliated Third Parties, as described in Paragraph 5, you may opt-out of those disclosures. To direct us not to share this information print, complete and send the Opt-out Form to the following address: 5 Hartshorn Street Reading, Mass. 01867. Do not mail your monthly payment with the form. If you have more than one loan with us, you must list all of your account numbers on the Opt-out form. If there are multiple borrowers on a loan, an opt-out request from one borrower will apply to all individual borrowers on the account. Please allow us approximately 30 days to process your request, during which time you may continue to receive information from third parties and affiliates.
